EWCO 1200 Skid Unit - Easy Install
System Description
The EWCO 1200 is an industrial-grade, low-maintenance, single stream system that generates hypochlorous acid (HOCl) in solution through the electrolysis of salt and water. The system uses patented electrolysis cells that are unique in that they generate a stable HOCl molecule that is electrically neutral and with high oxidation potential (800 mV to over 1000 mV), contributing to its effectiveness against microbial pathogens.
Optimization of Feed Water pH
This system will be built with venturi pumps to acidify the feed water with hydrochloric acid prior to entering the EWCO 1200 system. Approximately 1 gallon of hydrochloric acid (35-37% HCl) will be required for every 10,000 gallons of hypochlorous acid generated. Optimizing the pH of the feed water will generate a solution of free chlorine that is near 99% hypochlorous acid therefore maximizing its effectiveness as an antimicrobial.
